Certification Description
The Web Services Solution Developer is responsible for using WebSphere Studio Application Developer V5.1 to design, create, package, publish, and test Web services, and support the development of clients that access them securely.
The Solution Developer is an individual with extensive product knowledge, who is expected to apply sound Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) analysis and design techniques, using WebSphere Studio Application Developer V5.1.
This certification does not cover Web application development, EJB(TM) development, and XML tooling. Other IBM certification offerings specifically address or will address these areas.
This certification targets intermediate level developers who have experience in Web Services development and one or all of the following products: 1. WebSphere Studio Application Developer V5.1; 2. WebSphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition V5.1; 3. WebSphere Studio Enterprise Developer V5.1.
