The purpose of the eServer i5 iSeries 595 Windows Integration Solutions V5R3 certification Exam 457 is to provide IBM 595 Business Partners in the North America an alternative way to achieve two certifications: 1. IBM Certified Systems Expert – eServer i5 iSeries Windows Integration Solution Sales V5R3 (includes Test 852 which has a pre-requisite of Test 259), and 2. IBM Certified Specialist – eServer i5 iSeries Windows Integration Technical Solutions V5R3 (includes Test 857)
This combination of these two exams into one (the 595 Windows Integration Solutions exam) means that individuals who take the 595 Windows Integration Solutions exam will need to pass two sections in the exam.
